Reusing Single-Use CVS Digital Camcorders

August 4th, 2005 by bill · No Comments

CVS sells a single-use, disposable camcorder for $30. You shoot video, pay CVS to “develop” it for you and give you a DVD with the video, and they keep the camcorder. The MakeZine blog touched on this quite a bit recently and have been picking at it. Now they have an article on modifying the camcorder to be not-so-disposable. The videos can now be transferred to your home computer directly, via USB.

This is hot on the heels of the article modifying the disposable CVS digital camera into a reusable camera.
